A guard dog, clad in a pair of swim trunks, swims with the Texas National Guard in a photo posted to the agency’s Facebook page on Tuesday.
The photo was taken on March 11, 2017, in the Gulf of Mexico.
More than 30 people had been confirmed dead in the storm and more than 200 people had suffered serious injuries, officials said.
At least 14 people died in the hurricane, which has left at least six million people without power.
The National Guard posted a photo of a uniformed guard dog on its Instagram page with the caption: “The Rangers have returned to the beach.
You have been amazing.”
